Step 1: Optional Site Assessment

We offer an optional site assessment for just $100 to determine if a Segway Navimow will work effectively on your property. During this visit, we review your yard layout, evaluate mower and charging station placement, and check for any potential issues such as large trees that may block satellite access or steep slopes that could affect performance. If you choose to move forward with installation, we will apply the $100 toward your one-time installation fee. Site assessments are available within 50 miles of Janesville, WI or Hayward, WI.

Step 2: Clear, Upfront Pricing

When you purchase your Segway Navimow directly from Ballard Power Works, we provide professional installation for $500. This ensures you get a brand-new mower from our inventory, backed by our dealership warranty and expert setup.

If you’ve already purchased a Navimow from another source, we can still install it for $650. This higher rate covers the additional time required to verify equipment condition, update firmware, and ensure compatibility before installation.

We install within a 50-mile radius of Janesville, WI or Hayward, WI. For properties located farther away in Wisconsin, installation may still be available with additional travel charges.

Our wireless installation service is designed to get your Segway Navimow set up for maximum performance and reliability from day one. Because Navimow uses advanced GPS satellite guidance, there are no boundary wires to bury, making installation cleaner, faster, and easier to maintain.

Here’s what we do during installation:

  • Reference Station Setup: We position and install the reference station in the optimal location, connecting it to an existing power outlet for strong, uninterrupted signal.

  • Firmware Updates and Calibration: We make sure your mower and reference station have the latest software and are calibrated for your yard’s layout.

  • App Pairing and User Tutorial: We pair your mower with the Segway Navimow app, walk you through all the features, and make sure you feel confident operating it.

  • Recommended Cut Settings: We set your mower for the best cutting height and schedule for your specific grass type and property.

  • Complete Setup Guide: We leave you with a clear, printed guide so you can easily reference instructions, settings, and maintenance tips.
